First distilled in 1973, Longrow is a double-distilled, heavily peated single malt produced at Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown. The malt is peat dried for up to 48 hours to give the whisky a unique Cambletown-style smoky character.
This Longrow is Red Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been matured for seven years in bourbon barrels followed by four years in fresh tawny port barrels. 8,700 barrels at cask strength have been produced.
As this whisky is not filtered a natural haze may form when it is cold but this will disappear when the temperature returns to normal.
