The Last Drop Release No. 37 Buffalo Trace 27 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is an extraordinarily rare, ultra-aged bourbon created from three carefully selected Buffalo Trace barrels distilled in 1995, 1996 and 1997. After more than a quarter century of maturation, the barrels were married to preserve both mature oak depth and an uncommon level of vibrancy.

Bottled uncut and unfiltered at 121.8 proof / 60.9% ABV, this release delivers a concentrated profile of seasoned oak, decadent cherry, Medjool date, dark fruit, caramel, baking spice, tobacco, leather and dark chocolate. Its substantial age produces pronounced oak structure without losing the fruit, sweetness and warming spice that give the whiskey its balance.

Only 508 bottles were produced worldwide. Each individually numbered 700mL bottle is presented in a refined green collector’s case with a 50mL miniature, making Release No. 37 an exceptional centerpiece for rare-whiskey collections, milestone gifting and carefully curated bourbon tastings.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Bright bronze-gold with deep amber highlights.

Nose: Seasoned oak, decadent cherry, Medjool dates, baking spices, dark fruit and a developing peppery rye note.

Palate: Structured oak tannins followed by caramel sweetness, dark chocolate-covered cherries, tobacco and supple leather.

Finish: Long, smooth and warming, with dried fruit, caramel and lingering oak spice.

How to Enjoy

Serve neat in a fine crystal tumbler or tulip-shaped whiskey glass. Allow the bourbon to rest after pouring so its mature oak, dark fruit and spice can unfold gradually. A few drops of water may reveal additional caramel, cherry and chocolate notes.
